Hit Huntington State beach Saturday morning at 6:00am. I knew the tides werent in my favor but wanted to swing the detector anyway. Turned out to be a really nice day. Hardly a soul on the state beach. Saw a few people down the way on the city beach, but really had the beach to myself. Worked the towel line and wet sand really well for bunches of clad. Noticed a NICE cut forming from the fairly big surf. Worked the cut for awhile and found quite a bit more clad but no jewelry. On my way back to my chair found a neat utility knife and another wheat back cent 1953d. Thats two wheaties in as many weeks.

Good clad count, I hope that knife was't open when you found it. I would hate to step on that thing.

Big lot of change Vinnie. Must be getting chilly at the coast. The beach traffic drops right off the first first sign of fall.
Good luck out there.
