I'm a teacher in the Red Hook area of Brooklyn hoping to get my hands on a metal detector for a week or so. I'm planning to use it in a lesson about dirt and excavation. Anyone have a detector I might be able to use? I'd be willing to travel anywhere within NYC to pick it up and drop it off.
