Just an FYI.

Nothing on this forum is archived. Old threads are just as important as new threads.

At the bottom of each thread there are similar threads.

You see, the search engines spider the whole forum, and if a guest types in a search with a specific phrase, he's going to be led to that specific page, even if it's old.

So, I guess the point is, if a new member happens to post on a thread from 2006, go easy on him huh? :D

Half the time members seem annoyed at Newbs for asking "redundant" questions and are like, "This is the link (enter link from 2007)". And then other members are like that post is so "2000 and late!":lol::lol:

Sometimes it's nice to read those old posts from 2006 - a little nostalgia never hurt anybody.

Well honestly, we still have the same detectors floating around as we did back then, and the same questions come up on how to use them.

I know we have a huge forum, but archiving these old posts is out of the question, because they are still relevant!

Added: There's only a couple forums where the members get aggravated with old threads. Such as, the old "Finds" threads. Members want to see the new finds, and don't want to have to wade through the old finds.

But this could be a good thing, because members may be subscribed to their old threads and it will bring them back to the forum.
