Need help reading an old signature.

This is in the front of an old book I have from 1900. The owner signed it in 1901. I believe the name says Ann E. Kooword. This page has brown spots which are actually very light. They only look darker due to enhancing the image. The pages are white.

The book, by the way, is Eben Holden - A Tale of The North Country by Irving Bacheller. Great story!

There MIGHT be a possibility the next to last letter is an "N" instead of an "R" based on the likeness to the first "N" in Ann.

but it still could be an "R", just a thought !

Well, I appreciate the help so far. It would be amazing if somehow I could find info on the original owner of this book.
