Went on a 4 hour hunt to a spot I've been wanting to hit for a while and ended up hunting a totally different place. Found this pretty under a tree 2 inches down

Now the marking inside says 4K. And I think one of two things:
A) There is a 1 preceding the 4 but its very, very light. You can only see it with a magnifying glass but it could just be a scratch.

B) The 4K refers to the stone, which is obviously synthetic. Do they weight synthetic stones in carats?

It is hard to show but I think there is evidence that this ring was re-sized at one point. It is way bigger than my ring finger. Maybe it was then that it lost the rest of its markings.

Or maybe it is a 4K ring. 4K ring. Why bother with gold at all?

Also, I found a nostalgic token. When I was in High School I spent many an hour in this place playing pool and video games...oh, heck, who am I fooling.
I was there for the girls! ;) (In my day, the Copper Cue was at Parklane Mall)

That is a nice ring. Came out looking good. Mine are usually broken or bent.

The picture doesn't show it but the ring looks like it was squashed. It doesn't look round when you look at it. It looks very well worn as well but I'll take it
