It looks like you cannot take a full size metal detector where you are going. Then why not take the the one you asked about. You can always sell it when you get home. It's a vacation and your going there to have fun. Get one and have fun.

I air tested mine and it see's gold just fine! I would of returned it if not. Haven't got to take it in the water yet though.....maybe I better test it out in water before it's too late just in case by some fluke chance it wont see gold in water.
