The Courland Pocket (Latvia) - Metal Detecting Relic Hunting

Lett,

I've been away for a while but I'm back and really enjoyed catching up on your awesome finds!

As the year started with winter and cold, the ground is frozen and you cant dig. Thas why relics must be searched at old homes etc.
Findings are very rare and in good conditions.
I will add some pictures what was found.

Did Walther have a factory in Riga? If so, I surely did not know that. Nice find on the book!

As usual Lett, amazing finds. Do you have any pictures of what these abandoned houses look like. Are these houses from an abandoned village?

We deal with the house owners to get rights to search houses, we dont break anything we are just searching what we are interested in.

After all the years of lurking on this forum, I finally decided to sign up. And this thread alone has been the one thread I have bookmarked and checked weekly.

Your finds are absolutely awesome, Lett. And I have to admit, I am very envious of your hunting grounds. Having lived in Europe for a while and being a major history buff, it's always awesome to see what you come up with.

Thanks again sir and please keep us up to date on your finds.
