What is this?

I find a LOT of these digging in NE Florida. Tiny little smashed looking chunks of metal. Not magnetic. The pictures will give you an idea of size and weight. One is it sitting on a dime.

Too many to be simply random. UFO eggs?

Musketballs smashed into something?

The colour + weight and not magnetic = lead.
 
While I’m no expert on either musketballs nor buckshot, this appears too small for musketballs and too large for buckshot. But I’m not really sure about the size of musket balls.

That was my first thought though.
