Just my 'two cents'. If you don't need the money, then don't sell until you truly know what you have. You could have an appraiser evaluate your collection for insurance purposes to get a ballpark. However, I would suggest not selling at all, but that's just me. It looks like you have a super collection that has taken years of care and dedication to the hobby. I totally understand your reasoning behind selling, but once you sell you can never take it back. Not to mention, you may not need the money now, but you never know what could happen in the future.
