We finally started harvesting a field I been wanting to detect but I only had an hour after work. Found a few interesting things in that short time. The brass item turns out to be part of a hernia truss belt from the late 1800's. I found my second Merc and my 30th D buckle. Only scraped the surface I hope.

You never know what the heck you will find and the hernia truss takes the cake of oddities found in a field

Great finds!

And....welcome to the exclusive Hernia Truss Parts Recovery Group! (I have a suspicion that there aren't many of us in the group...)
