I wish I could dig just one of these. These all came out of the ground. There are in the archaeology lab that I do some work in.

Civil War Confederate Virginia coat buttons, and, for coming out of the ground, in extremely nice condition. Excavated at the home of George Washington's sister in Fredericksburg.

Thank you. Interest bit of history there. And yes, they are in very good condition considering they came out of the ground.
