Right place at the right time

Last week I was at a park, not finding much of anything. Then a couple of groundskeepers drove up to me on a gator. The driver told me that, since I have a metal detector, I might want to know that there's a lady in the baseball field on her hands and knees, looking for a ring.

I walked the quarter mile, told the lady that the groundskeeper told me she was looking for a ring, and offered my help. Her husband lost his wedding band the night before while watching his kid play ball.

"Gold or silver?"

"White gold."

Not one minute later, and BOOM! One very happy lady! She was only 15 feet from it.

Reward? Two hugs and a huge smile. :D

I can't believe I didn't remember to get a photo!
