Frick'n cold today, with a windchill of -21°C / -5°F. I bundled up with my down filled parka, my camera and ACE 400. I had no intention of detecting for coins, however was prepared to detect birds. When it gets this cold, they will eat out of your hand, as the food is scarce with the snow.

If the bird had been banded, I probably would have gotten an electronic "BEEP" out of it, but, it remained quiet!

Finally, A bird checking out what that yellow box is all about!

I always look forward to your bird pics during the winter!...I bet you gotta be one of the few people that has a wild bird land and eat out of their hands....like that...Seagulls and pigeons dont count! Cool!

I'm sure you are cranking out some coin rings again this Winter...give us some pics!
