So, I dug this mystery coin today. I found it in a field where I have found countless other treasures. The area used to be an amusement park in the late 1800's / early 1900s. I'm not sure exactly why, but there is a small hot spot where I have found a 1881 Canadian cent, one of those 1700's Chinese coins, an WW1 German Pickelhaube crest (look that one up) and loads of other little trinkets.

This coin must be a foreign one. At first I thought it was a Mexican Real, because the Eagle is very similar but I can't find a match. No clue, I've browsed Google, but I have no point of reference for this one.

What I can make out:
An Eagle
Underneath the eagle the end of a word: "...ES"

On the bust side, I think I see a man facing left with a pointy beard, but who knows.
On the upper left of the bust "...POL..."?
On the upper right: ...IPERE..."?
And the last digit of the date on the bottom, underneath the bust. "...4"

Also it's very thin, 25mm in diameter, 3.7g.

Any ideas? I know this one is in bad shape.
Should I bring this query to a coin forum?

:woot: That's an amazing find! It sounds like an excellent location that you found it at, too.

P.S. Congrats, forum members, on another great identification!
