This weekend I spent two days metal detecting and socialising at Glemsford in Suffolk. This is between Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds.
I didn't camp there, as I only live just over an hour away, but there must have been over 200 people there. The weather was fantastic, although this has made the fields very dry.

On the Saturday I met Simon, Doug was also there, but unfortunately didn't get to meet him.

Stubble field
Most people avoided this field, but I had a go. Didn't find much apart from the
aircraft parts.

Outstanding pictures Alan, thanks for taking us along. Just something about the English that is so recognizable (I have been there several times, business). Looks like it was a great weekend. RickO
