Restoring tools, reading engravings

So I dug a ball pein hammer that my research shows it in a 1969 sears catalog. Iíve cleaned it up but whatís the best way to make the stamp/engraving stand out? Itís visible but Iím wanting it noticeable. Nail polish and sanding? Whatís your thoughts?

Itís finished now, I filled it in with black nail polish then sanded with 400 grit.

Hereís either a chisel or wedge I dug on the same hill, it was extremely rough so I used electrolysis on it (first time ever) I think it turned out pretty good but I wonít be putting it back to use. There was logging here way back in the day so Iím not sure which it is. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9dff090f03.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...295c24d323.jpg

What u think logging wedge? Logging happened there, or chisel, canít think of any reason for the area. Any age guesses? Couldnít tell what it was from the rust.
