Today was a different story , finally the sand like magic was gone on a nice stretch of prime beach, its about to be epic if this continues, found 5 buffalo nickels back to back in a spot about 20 sqft. Lots of targets, not down to clay yet but almost , I’m so happy, must of made 150 extractions in gear destroying terrain, my scoop is still alive and ready for tomorrow. Got two rings , a heartbreaker of a bracelet gold with diamonds but not the right kind, and a first for me , in a flat part of the beach where the erosion ended got a 37 VID on the nox and got a one oz silver bar. Things are looking up, will be back tomorrow to get the gold. GL and HH.

Who I hunt with found one last year and they also got another one of those small gold swiss bars. I found one years ago with a Buffalo on it. That's one of those "scratch your head" finds. A couple of years back I had a silver bullion coin. Yours is definitely more unexpected. Very cool!

I keep a "lucky" 1oz silver coin in my wallet... Maybe something similar for the bar or gold, etc? Mainly a memento...
And i got the signal where I least expect it, not where all the erosion was but towards the water on a flat area, i was back the next day and all the gravels and rocks where gone, over a foot of sand covered the sweet spot in less than 18 hrs. I did get another 34-35 VID but this time it was about 10 pounds of lead from a quick release divers weight. Bet today was a good day hunting storm drains. It was a very nice and clean high tone , not like quarters that sound chirpy and uneven on the nox. Was using Tonys headphones and i like that they don’t blow your eardrums with honker’s.
