I've seen contestants on various game shows that acted like they didn't have a clue 
Just a couple examples:
Someone bidding to get on stage on "The Price is Right" bidding a dollar LESS than another bidder rather than bidding a dollar more like you would expect
Someone on "Wheel of Fortune" that wanted to go ahead and solve the puzzle even though they could have called a letter to get more money, even after Pat asked "don't you want to call a letter ?" they still just went ahead and solved it without calling a letter for more money

My aunt played the same lotto numbers for years.....you guessed it.
One day she forgot to renew.... the 6 out of 6 numbers came up...she was depressed alright.The pize that draw was in the millions.
I know two friends in our city that actaully cashed in those prizes.
One was bought spur of the moment corner store and the other at a ticket kiosk.
I see one of the winners still after 20 years trying to repeat his win at the lottery stands.
