Love my DeLeon, never swung a Cortes.
If you need manual ground balance get the Cortes (it has a slightly smaller TID), if not, get the DL.

Just remember, the GB is in AM only on the Cortes. In disc mode it's still preset. I've had both machines, and it's a toss up as to which was more fun. I would say go with a used one, as the new prices don't make sense anymore when you look at competitive pricing.
