Tahoe

There's not much open ground in the NV desert right now so I made a trip up to the frigid water in Tahoe. The beach I went to is changing from a month ago where you couldn't hear a target. Water has come up 2-3 ft since fall. Now it's cutting into the blow sand. My first good target was a 925 ring. Managed some clad. Stayed for about an hour in a blizzard with chunks of ice floating around me. The Deus had a solid 1/4" of ice on the shaft. If my fingers weren't freezing I would have stayed longer.

Well done on the silver and other finds. You certainly earned it detecting in those conditions. But I'll bet you had the whole place to yourself right.

WTG on getting out in it! The Tahoe area is getting more snow this season then I can remember in a long time! Not just Tahoe, but the whole Sierra Range!
