Since Friday’s paltry 2-hour hunt left me unsatisfied I decided to head out yesterday in what were better surf conditions. However, this time I took Noxy since I’m having some trust issues with Merlin and its battery at the moment. My 1st target within a couple of minutes was the junk ring. The rest of the hunt was slow and uneventful except for that nicely styled silver ring with what I think may be a lab created red stone of some sort since it goes up slightly on my tester. The junk chain was a very brief exciting find but since this one was tarnished, I knew it was junk right away. (I found a very similar bling encrusted one last year). The star of the show however was the polarized Ray-Ban’s that are in excellent shape. I might be keeping those for me. The Panama Jacks have some decorative carbon fiber on the sides and are green on the inside. They are in good shape too and I think are also polarized. There’s another pair I looked up that have wooden legs – “ANDWOOD”. They’re not expensive and are polarized, but they’re scratched, which is too bad because they are nice. Gold slump continues but as long as I am getting some scores its all good!
