and great finds ...... I came out of detecting retirement this evening when I saw this recently blown down tree. It's at a nearby school less than a mile from me. This spot has given up very little silver over the years. My last silver there was a 46 silver Rosie last year I didn't think I'd find much this evening and I was absolutely right. I hit that ground and those roots for an hour before dark came. Here pictured are the tree, the exposed ground and the fruits of my labor.

Had I not hunted it would have been convinced I missed out on something good. Such is the way it is.

We have gotten far more rain than normal which has made the city park prime for the deep stuff. The problem now is they are calling for rain & snow starting Saturday, and my Legend is due here Friday.

Legend is waterproof so you can still go. I don't swing in the rain, at least not yet. Which package did you purchase?

I bought used with wireless buds, but I bought the stock WHP from Nokta, It came with the stock LG28 and it had the LG35 so I also bought the LG15 coil.

The LG15 is a banger of a coil. That little sucker picks up the smallest specks of metal while the iron is biased out. I can count on one hand how many nails I've dug over the past year, however I don't hunt for relics. You made a good decision.

Hey Mark, sounds like you like LG15, how big are the dimension's. I wonder if Garrett has newer coils out for AT Pro. I have the standard coil that came with it, plus bought a new smaller coil called the ( Viper). Hoping much to have success with it, in the woods.

It's the 6" round. Good for tight spots, you hear everything that is metal. I got the LG 24 which is about 6 by 9.5 inches and it cover a little more ground. I have an ATPro that is just gathering dust on the shelf. Has your ground softened up? I got out today, was kind of muddy so I gotta soak those coins and see what I have.
