Replacing lost battery cover lid on Whites Coin master Classic iii

I just gave a Whites Coin Master Classic 111 to my Grandchildren. It works fine but the enclosure to the battery compartment in incomplete. i.e. it should have two metal plates, but it only has one (the one with the plastic snap-in plug). This plate does not cover the whole opening to the batteries. So, please provide me with the dimensions to the missing second plate which I believe goes behind the one that snaps in.

If no one here can supply you with info you need, just contact the manufacturer and see if they get you the part. Or pull a PDF up and make one yourself.

That's an older detector. Find someone with a 3d printer and your problem is solved.

Whites shut their doors in 2020. That manual doesn't show the parts in question.

Consider fixing it with duct tape until either the kids forget about it, or they use it so much that it is worth upgrading.
