I am new to the sport of metal detecting. I have been a member of the Gold Prospectors Association of America (GPAA) for about 7 years which has brought me here. I will soon have a Minelab Gold Monster 1000. I live about 15-20 minutes from the ocean and always see people combing the sand looking for treasure and I'd like to be a part of that. I also don't mind driving out to the desert in search of some lost history.
Ive been reading a lot and doing a lot of research on sand scoops. One thing about me is I like to spend money once! It just seems like there are so many knock offs and I don't want to waste money on some garbage. I don't mind where its made (USA is always preferred) as long as its quality.
If I had unlimited funds id pick up a titanium extreme scoop
