OK!!!!! GRRRRRR!!! We just got home. Left at 7:30 AM and just got in at 2:45 AM... Everything was going swimmingly until we hit Charleston FRICKIN' WEST VIRGINIA!!! Tire went flat... Great! Middle of nowhere, I look like Ned Beatty, and I think I hear BANJOS!! Luckily, I packed a tire plug kit and a portable air compressor. Fixed... Till about 20 miles from the OH border... Flat again! Ok get it all back out.. fixed... Till about 20 miles into OHIO and flat again... This time, They threw in a huge thunderstorm for good measures! Wet...but fixed again... Get past Stonecreek thinking it is home free... Mile marker 80 and I can actually see the New Philadelphia exit... FLAT AGAIN!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! Last PLug I have and it better get home!... I am driving up 4th st to get to the house and Road Closed!!! Really! It did hold till we got home, but the low pressure light was on the whole time... So... As if driving 19 1/2 hours straight wasn't bad enough... 4 flat tires in the final 3 hours...

AND... I'd like to thank the wonderful Ohio State Patrolman who DROVE PAST ME as I sit on the side of the road in the dark with my flashers on in a thunderstorm! I hope his next poo comes out square!

That sucks overall but atleast you can look back and laugh at it now that you are home safe and not agitated lol.

Brian, you must have the worst luck of anybody I have heard of!??!;)

That aside, did you dig any goodies??!!?

just a sugestion along with the plugging kit carry a bottle of tire slime I worked construction and I always picked up nails in my tires and got tired of plugging them so I used a bottle of tire slime and never got a flat. when I put new tires on my truck the tech showed me one tire that had 7 nails in it!

I'm sorry to hear about the flat tires but please, don't complain about the rain, as most of the mid-west is dying for some. I hope you had a good vacation up until that last bit. : )

We went to Florida for 2 weeks. Yes, I detected every day! I got one small 10k band that fits my pinky, but there wasn't anything else noteworthy found. The last flat happened right at our exit and it that point I was so tired and slaphappy, I just looked at my wife and we both just laughed about it.
