Anyone who tells you this is certainly not telling you the truth.
These three are from a site that was found a few years back
This hunt was about a month ago & another 7+ hr hunt
The site is very far away i get up at 2a & drive - every time i go there i have to bust my a** & make the day count.
These little 22 short are just about everywhere - these are unique because they are encased in the bottom material
The three gold were all found with the Nox 900 - although i certainly use the Excal II for a lot of my hunts
rings were also buried very deep in sand - some gravel & several more inches of clay

locating this spot was quite difficult in the beginning.
it took a lot of research - view the lake through diff maps - hrs & hrs of research before i even made the trek there -
as a a safeguard i always try & have two or three backups in case i fail at locating primary spot.
So with a lot of patience & a little luck - you hope to put yourself in a good spot - & you try to fig out the area - where they swam - where they didn't. with almost no actual photographic evidence - you try & piece the place together 1905- no one around to ask -
so really there is no other choice
i'm always looking for old swim buckles to help me pinpoint area - beach tags are obv a plus too - although not all have them
These old gold there is simply nothing quite like them - they sometimes have dates inside them - old calligraphy writing.
The hotel that sat right in front of this beach is long gone - but the treasures are still there waiting to be discovered.
This area too has yielded my two oldest dated class rings 1916" found last yr- 1915 found on this trip
this spot has been such a rich spot - as crazy as it seems i expect to find multiple gold each visit here
but that's never an easy task - it's always an all day hunt
but i have now done this a half dozen times or more - also trash at this site is surprisingly low -
don't get me wrong there is trash but nothing like some of these other areas
also want to point out this year gold count was quite low until later in the year - now i'm at 15 gold & that's been a hell of a task!!
lots of silver coins but low gold until just about a month ago
almost everything this year is very old gold - tired of these modern junk beaches -
unless of course if i'm hitting florida or east coast - i will never complain going to felix beaches "LOL"

I may try one last shot at this beach this year- i'll keep ya posted
Good Luck - Maybe try your hand at research
some of these states actually have many of these type beaches - many are just too far away
Last pic is "backup" beach - they both considerable distance
it too wasn't confirmed until last trip
no gold here yet
it's there - this place has a lot of trash - 3 hrs of digging
everything good is in that pic -
the train whistle & watch one of my absolute favorites!!
toy gun - " not real" kids toy
make up compact - one silv merc

Congrats! Those are some nice rings you have there. The encased bullets would make a cool display piece.

:dingding: Some nice stuff there! I would like to be able to complain about finding old gold like that but I can't!

Love the old gold! Some cool brass pieces too!

Normal at the older places I hunt silver coins and brass are a great sign, I did have one spot there were no coins but beach tags and gold rings only, and it was rare to find a buckles or anything else. Luckily, I had pictures, so I knew where all the coins and everything else was kept. Interesting is this beach, you had to wear the supplied bathing suits, this was in effect for several years from what I can tell. Notice the beach tags around their necks

Good Luck! Researching than the rewards are .. :kingdances:

Good job on the researching... a few of us here only go after old stuff, so we know how hard it is to find the old spots...

Also good job on the gold.... I really like the conglomerates as well...
