Hello. Newbee learning the ropes. I purchased a bounty hunter metal detector to see if this is a hobby that I want to invest in. So far so good, I saw your forum and it looked interesting and helpful.

Welcome to a very exciting hobby! Have fun learning your new machine... don't be surprised if you uncover some junk, just know that treasure will follow if you keep it up!

I'm in the northern Illinois area, we've found a couple of pennies, a dime, and a pull tab while practicing in the backyard.

I've watched that one, thank you though. Earlier I was in the backyard learning the detector. Playing with the sensitivity and the discrimination. Found a bunch of pennies, a quarter, and a dime. Also nails, screws, and pull tabs. Before I played with the discrimination setting I dug a huge hole just for a nail. Lol
