How many couples are there on the forum?

My wife will go with me once in a while. She likes to dig the target that I've located with my AT Pro. I did buy her a Vanquish 440 and she has used it a few times. So... not so much a dectecting couple here.

I took my wife once to the beach to detect after a storm. Big sand deposits with lagoons, cuts and rivers racing when the tide switch. She walked out on this peninsula and sank to her knees and couldn’t move, she was screaming for me to get her out. I was a hundred yards away and knew that she was ok but she didn’t know that. When I got within ten feet of her she started yelling quick sand. She wanted me to hold out my detector so she could grab it and be pulled out. I said , that could possibly break it and I didn’t want to chance it. Boy was that a mistake. I ended up going in behind her until I felt the soft sand, flipped the end of my belt to her and dragged her out on her side. Completely soaked and sandy , our day was over.
So no my wife doesn’t like metal detecting , especially at the beach.

Me and my other half go out she does occasionally. Got her a Patriot if she went out more id prob get
her the new Xterra or a multi unit. We would allway's have a competition which is fun seeing who find's the first coin or the most and the first piece of jewelry.

Sue and I have been together since July, 2000 and I got her interested in detecting back in 2011 when she moved in with me. We've been detecting together ever since. The photo is from a seeded hunt in 2018.
