I went out in the back yard for a few hours today. My pinpointer stopped working. It always goes through batteries fast, but even with a fresh one almost as soon as I turned it on it would start beeping and vibrating nonstop. I ended up digging about 4 holes that I didn’t find anything in. Decided I like this stuff enough that I’ll buy decent stuff to replace my cheap stuff when I need to. I ordered a fisher f pulse. I did find a few things. I got one metal ring, I’m not sure what it goes to. I also got an aluminum arrow that looks like it got chopped up by a mower at some point. Think I got the whole thing. It’s about 31.5 inches total. Overall a good time.

You have only scratched the surface of the things you are yet to find. The places you will go to find lost treasure. The stories you will have to tell. Well done on this trip. Keep at it, do well, have fun. :waytogo:

Keep at it, this is pretty much how it starts for all of us when we got into this hobby. As you put your time in and learn what the machine is telling you, the finds will get better. The bad day of metal detecting is a lot better than a good day at work!
