I’ve been working an area where all the trees have recently been cleared. I saw on a 1930’s map that there were a few houses along the Railroad. To my surprise it’s been a civil war bullet hot spot. I don’t know what this round lead item with the large hole through it is. The inside bore is very smooth like it was over a shaft or something. Interesting to me the bullet and brass cartridge (top row) came from the same hole, I think it was an un-fired Burnside or Gallagher cartridge, I need to measure things. Appreciate any thoughts.
