Since returning from AZ, I have been hunting some old permissions, park, and fairgrounds between snowstorms (yes, came back too early). My first two good finds were a 1934D buff, and my first silver of the year, a 1944D WAR nickel. A few days later, I found a 25 cent two bits play coin, furniture tag, and the green made-in-Chicago Tootsie toy at an old permission.
Today I went to another old permission thats being renovated, and found it more inviting with the equipment removed from the yard. I scored the 1937D buff, several wheats, and the Roy Montgomery Gillette WY 2 bit token that was from his hotel there. Roy was a local rancher that had two hotels in town during 1910s.
Thanks for looking, and HH!
