Since returning from AZ, I have been hunting some old permissions, park, and fairgrounds between snowstorms (yes, came back too early). My first two good finds were a 1934D buff, and my first silver of the year, a 1944D WAR nickel. A few days later, I found a 25 cent two bits play coin, furniture tag, and the green made-in-Chicago Tootsie toy at an old permission.

Today I went to another old permission thats being renovated, and found it more inviting with the equipment removed from the yard. I scored the 1937D buff, several wheats, and the Roy Montgomery Gillette WY 2 bit token that was from his hotel there. Roy was a local rancher that had two hotels in town during 1910s.

Thanks for looking, and HH!

Cool findS TJ, Congrats on the War nickel, Buffs, wheats and cool token. It seems I'm finding a lot more war nickels than usual this year. Good luck, Mark

Thank you, Mark

Great hunts, That ‘37 looks like it is in great shape. Still need to find a Buff myself.

Thanks, Harry, and you will!

Nice collection of finds you have there. Hope the streak keeps going for you.

Thanks J

That's a great start to your season. Love seeing those Tootsies!

Thank you SH

Congrats on your first silver, the Buffaloes, and the rest! That '37 Buff has very little wear.

Thanks Grey. The home is from the mid 1920s, so Im thinking it was a fresh drop.

Nice hunting! Love that token and tootsie, but of course the war nick, buffs, play coin and wheats are great finds too.

Thanks GS!

Sure are some nice finds! Congrats on the First Silver, the Gillette Token, and other goodies!

Thank you!

Nice assortment of finds. Being from Chicago I like that furniture tag. The token is really neat as well. And don't get me started on play dimes. I once found a coin spill full of them and my heart stopped as first thought that they were silver dimes.

It is always a great feeling Tom putting that first Silver into the coffers. I'd be very happy with the Tootsie, the Buffalo's or the Token also. Congrats! Trapper

Great finds. More silver there probably with all those wheats and old nickels.

I may have to look at my nickels more closely in the future.

Way cool finds. That old car is neat too. Really nice pack of different artifacts. Love seeing this.

Thanks GTL! I found another heavier furniture tag at the last site. Has Built By Graham Brothers Detroit embossed on it.

Nice group of finds.....

Thank you!

Neat finds congrats!

Thanks longbow!
