Digging properly

All good info. When I do a grassy area, I take great care to leave it as I found it or better. And for God's sake pick up the trash you just dug that includes hunting in the woods too, never leave a hole uncovered.

Long back I didn't know what I was doing and I was called out on it. Since then I'm extremely careful to leave the ground how I found it, even out in the middle of nowhere. I've learned that digging round plugs instead of horseshoe plugs is a bad thing as the round plug can end up drying out later even if it looks good when you are done, because the communal grass root system is completely cut and the circular plug becomes detached from that root system. We've got to really be careful to support our hobby and not get shut down.
