Keep them and cash them in unless you ask for them back, like I did when a tooth with an old crown was pulled.
Worth about $50 a crack depending on the actual alloy, I have heard.

If you're paying for three kids to go to the dentist you'd better find some serious treasure to pay it off! The last time my son went to the dentist the bill came to $1,500
