Any suggestions for DIY counterweight for the Nox 800?

I stacked copper pennies from the cuff screw to the end cap. It’s enough that I can detect as long as I normally feel like detecting, without my arm giving out.

If I wanted to take the time to make a lead slug it would work even better.
