I work within a 2 minute walk of 2 Coinstar machines, and the most common type of coins I find other than pennies are foreign coins. They may not be worth much (although the Euros I find are) it is still neat to see the designs and compositions from countries around the world. I have found coins from Singapore, Mexico, the Phillipines, China, Costa Rico, and Panama to name a few.
Why are there a high number of foreign coins in and around coin star machines you ask? Simply put, they are worthless in the US, so they are worthless to the general public. But I will take them. I already have a few pages of them in my folder. HH
