Coil selection?

Hello I have the Simplex and I use the Sp24 it's a great coil. I'm purchasing the legand and would like to get a smaller coil. What's the difference between the 6 inch round coil and the lg24?

The LG24 is a DD 9.5" x 6" coil. It was kind of difficult to find (sold out) but I got mine about a month ago. I haven't put a lot of hours on it but it will cover more area than the LG15 six inch coil. I like the LG24 coil because it seems to separate and pick up targets that the large 11" coil rolls over.
