Started the day out in the fields at an old homestead site. Lot of iron, lots of trash. Didnt find any coins but did find the reins guide, musket ball, shell casing and the little clip ??. Not sure what it is.
Decided to head into town and do some door knocking, glad i did. Hit a curb strip and found the 925 Harley Davidson ring. Nice heavy ring. Wasn't finding much else except for the ever present memorial's, (11) to be exact. Dug a couple quarters, couple dimes.
Decided to head to another new permission, first target was this very nice 1941D Walking Liberty Half Dollar. The detail on this coin is Great. I would think it was lost in 1941 since it doesnt show much wear. WAHOOO, silver half. You just dont find them everyday, especially in this shape. Getting dark so heading back to the truck found a 1945 S wheat and a 1951 D wheat. Pretty decent day and the silver put a smile on my face.

Dang, that's a great day. Awesome silver coin! Still looking for my first silver, need to knock on some doors I guess.

Big, beautiful and shiny. That's both the Walker and the Harley Ring. Looks to me as you had a very good day Jeff. Congrats is in order. Trapper

Congrats on the relics, cool ring and of course the beautiful Walker half. I have only dug 2 of them in 7 years. So I know the thrill when one comes to light. Great save and again congrats. Good luck, Mark
