Been doing some thinking,( I know scary right) about detectors that are not the new ones like the Simplex, Nox, D2, you get the idea. I'm looking at older ones that I never had the opportunity to use and would still think about buying and using. I'm quite sure the new light weight units are awesome. I'll probably stick with my E-Trac but there is still a couple I really would consider buying and using. I never owned a Tesoro and there are two I would like to try. The Cibola, and the Vaquero. I'm sure I could come up with more, but I would like to hear from the rest of ya'll. :waytogo:

I started with a Fisher F75 it’s a great machine. I swing the 900 now. The only thing the f75 doesn’t do as good as the 900 is in the heavy nails.

I've had the Tesoro Compadre, Silver Saber uMax, the Mayan, and the Inca. All solid performers. just your no-frills detectors. I loved the Compadre as the top tot lot detector with the 5.75" coil, and the Inca.
