They looked so good KT could not resist shaking hands with them and got His Majesty's Royal Fingerprints on a couple of them! Never fear, they will soon be wiped clean! All of these gentlemen are retired policemen with 30 years each in law enforcement. KT quickly asked them if they would enjoy being part of a police force in the Royal Kingdom, and they were excited to hear about that opportunity. KT presently has 5 policemen who each day visit in different areas of the Kingdom to check on our inhabitants, hear complaints and any evidence of criminal activity. Their addition would double the effort and allow them to go out with partners instead of being alone. In recent consultations with the established 5 officers, they all requested help, so getting some experienced retired officers on that Royal Police Force will help all concerned! We had a fine Royal Banquet for these gentlemen this evening at the Castle and invited the other 5 officers to attend and visit with these new arrivals. KT will see that they have proper uniforms and gear that they need. Sounds like it is time for KT to commission a Royal Jail for local deadbeats and rascalens. As with other matters, His Majesty will be the Judge and members of the Royal Castle will be a standing body of people for jurors.

Anyway, KT apologizes for the finger prints on these gentlemen, picture taken as usual by the Royal Photographer!
Enjoy the picture!

KT has had a lifetime of good experiences with policemen, from the time two showed up at the Castle Doorway and KT's Royal Pooch came bursting out the dog door screaming at them, surprising the youngest one who fell backwards off the porch into a holly bush (HA HA Ouch), to the most recent ones who stopped the Royal Chariot for either speeding or what the officer considered tailgating...KT considered both as keeping up with traffic. They have been much nicer as KT has gotten older, often giving His Majesty the benefit of the doubt with a verbal warning! And one of His Majesty's favorite policemen is the man who plays Mexican Train Dominos every Thursday with us at the Church. He is funny as he is in charge of the property room which contains many firearms and lots of illegal drugs. He claims to be the only officer that gets a natural high when sitting at his desk as there is no ventilation and windows in his office! Lucky for him he has a doctor's permit for maryjane due to an on-duty injury years ago. But he claims not to need it on the days he has in-house duty! About twice a year, he calls the State Police and they escort him and his drugs to an incinerator facility, and once a year they come and escort him to a metal refinery to melt down all the guns they take from the drug dealers in the community.

Thank you for your compliment and comment, and a chance for KT to ramble on, GroundSweeper! HA HA

Highness a knight that is not somewhat battle worn is not a trustworthy kingdom protector. I'm sure mentoring from the king will straighten them out. Well done.

Yes, and for any positions of responsibility offered by KT in the Royal Kingdom, KT expects well prepared personal resumes with past employer’s contact info. These leads to careful vetting, and fortunately these gentlemen are well recommended and highly qualified! Thanks for your comment, hoser!

I didn't mean any disrespect towards our law enforcement officers KT. I live in Placer County Ca which has, in my experience, some of the nicest sheriffs officers. They understand the 2nd and issue CCW permits kindly to us law-abiding citizens. I won't go into any further possibly politically hued commentary....

I enjoy your banter or rambling if you want, I am a bit of a rambler myself at times
