I'm looking for people in & around sarasota to MD with. New to the hobby, and have a kiddo that's excited to go.

I'm beginning to plan summer vacation. I'm thinking about camping near the beach in either Rhode Island/ Massachusetts. Can anyone give a suggestion as to which public beaches are the best for metal detecting in that area? Thanks in advance for your input. Ken C.
