These come from a beach sifter like the one pictured below, there would be thousands of these inside the rotary drum used to sift sand of larger objects "rocks, toys, etc etc". These were probably dropped as they were installed, cause the used ones would be wore down to bare steel because of all the sand going through them.

Now we're getting somewhere. Just show me a photo of these things attached to that machine and you will be 20c closer to retirement.

I have looked and looked and to no avail, cant find a photo of the actual pieces themself. Guess they would be in a catalog that sold beach sifter parts, but we dont have any parts houses like that here in Indiana.

How do you know that these parts go in a beach sifter?

Those that I've found have been from beaches that have never seen a sifter. Darn, this is frustrating......

I wrote a industrial sand sifter company. The person who wrote me back said he has never seen anything like that .

Gingerbread house door cutter or window cutter or chimini cutter. All look similar. Here are a few pics from google image yours are just older

Let's get past the "cookie cutter" stuff.

Why would cookie cutters be found all up and down the eastern seaboard?
Why are they only found at the shore?
Why are they all the same color?
Why are they all the same shape?
Why would cookie cutters be made of sheet metal and heavy wire welded together, and then painted?
Why are they so often found in excellent shape?

They are beach toys... I have been finding them for years and have seen kids with them...
