Nashville TN (again)

I tried this a couple years back and never managed to meet up with anyone so I will try again. Anyone in the Nashville TN area want to meet up and go hunting? I am willing to travel anywhere in the greater Nashville area and up to 1 hour away. I've only been in the area about 3 years and haven't found a lot of places to hunt, so that's why I am looking for a good buddy with good areas to hunt.

Yes I know about the local clubs but would rather run in smaller personal groups.
I am fairly experienced and can run with old pros or teach a newbie.

Hey,
I am in Hendersonville and have land in White House, TN. I am a pretty novice hunter, I have Whites XLT but am about to buy a V3 or another high end unit and some coils. I enjoy silver coin and relic hunting, would love to research and find some obscure civil war sites and older hangouts. Would love to hunt with someone who has been there and done that a bit more than I have.

I am also looking for people to hunt with as well as locations to hunt. I have been at it for a few years with a few finds that are of interest to me but maybe no one else. Have you already spent time hunting your land in White House? Any cool finds?

If you have any interest in modern coin and jewelry shooting let me know. I have plenty of ground left to cover around where I live and there are also a few parks up in Hendersonville that I hunt at. We can always search around and ask for permission however a lot of the older places around the city are pretty well hunted out or off limits.

I'm in Spring Hill, about 35 miles south of Nashville. Don't have my MD yet but I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a Ace 250. Would be cool to find some folks to go out with.

I am in Rutherford Co. I am fairly new to detecting, but would love the chance to get out and learn. I don't have any area around me that I hunt on a regular basis.

I do mainly just modern coin shooting, if you are interested we can track down some common ground in between Nashville and where you are down in Rutherford and do some hunting. I'm sure we can find a park somewhere. Just let me know, I sneak out all the time (well not so much when the weather is as hot as it has been but still at least once a week.)

Anyone want to head out sometime in the next 2 weeks? Let me know what area you are in and I will find/plan something. It has been hot and I haven't gotten out at all, and the digging itch has started up again. Let me know, I know some of you Spring Hill guys were looking for a hunting buddy.

Please join and tell anyone else in the valley, that way we all have one place to 'meet' here. Really, Nashville isn't that far from Huntsville, etc. That's why I thought the broader region might be a good thing.

I don't have a MD yet, keep meaning to give it a go.

I am in White House TN and have recently been bitten by the metal detecting bug, I am a complete noob at this as a matter of fact I just ordered my first detector(Garrett Ace 350)and havent recieved it just yet. I do however I feel I have some fairly promising spots to hunt one of which is my cousins land roughly 150 acres I know for a fact that families lived on the property from 1850's up as there is an old family cemetary on the land, I also know that bootleggers had a still there during the 1940's-50's I believe, as there is an old house that has their names and date pasted in the cement. In the general area nearby there are several old houses/general stores which might also yield a couple of finds.

If anyone is interested in joining me let me know via pm and Ill try and get back with you asap. I need someone that has had a good bit of experience doing this and doesnt mind teaching me the ropes also if you have nice metal detector that gets deep would be a big plus.

Detecting on the land I have access to will probably yield more relics than anything and possibly some old coins if lucky.
