The Legend has one feature that is really important to me,,it’s one of the reasons I like the Deus and FBS so much,,,Audio gain...I like to jack that up and hear those deep targets loud and clear,I’m hate modulated audio...Minelab should of or still can incorporate that in a update on the nox,I don’t know why they don’t.

Someone called you tomorrow and reported they lost their gold ring in their yard somewhere.
Which detector in its correct software version setup would be be detector to get the job done the faster. Assuming 11” coils on both. Legend or Deus 2.
All that deeper garbage in the yard one would have to hear with Legend even at audio gain setting of 1. Deus 2 at lowest audio response turns lot of that into whispers. Ring near or on surface would be loud. Having to lift a coil after every target is heard and determined to be in gold ring range would get old and slow a person way down trying to locate shallower target.

I see what your saying,and at high sens modulation might be the better feature in that situation. But I think if I dropped the sens very very low I'd only get surface targets on all 3 of those machines
I may do a video using Deus 2 and Legend reducing sensitivity and compare those results in video to Deus 2 with lowest audio response setting. Might even use a gold ring in demo. So get ready KOB. Might be another video coming soon.

I've tested the nox 800 and legend today in my test bed on deep coins, I can modulate the audio on the legend with no problem,,,but I can't enhance the equinox 800 signal audio,,,that's the difference between those two machines..

Cmon man. Maybe if you did some real hunt comparisons. I've seen the unboxing , seen the lame coyote and a couple others. But that's it. Not to interested in staged test hunts. We have enough fools out here doing REAL beach hunt videos that are faked.

Patiently awaiting the next squirrel killin..
Won’t be much longer. 4th Sat in Aug. bombs away. Just hope I can hold rifle steady for those heads. Getting older now. We’ll see. Got to get across the 52,000 mark quick if I can. So I can get to 53,000 sooner vs later. Our season extended for 15 days starting this upcoming season. Oh boy. Open Until 15 Mar 2023.
I used to go squirrel hunting with my grandfather... we would bring them home and after cleaning them stick them in a quart milk container that we filled with water to keep them from getting freezer burned.... tree rats are the only rodent I'll eat

Opossums aren't bad. Rabbit and Armadillos are very good eating. Cook either or squirrel using a cajun fricassee recipe and it'll have your tastebuds salivating for more.

Appears no one is using the Legend on the beach. Would like to hear from someone who does and how it's working for them.

I have a soft spot for Opossums... they are ugly but cute and I hate seeing them as road kill... Opossums also don't get rabies so they are on my good mammal list...

I like possum sardines. Not possums. Had a great aunt back in the day. She would eat every one I took her in trapping them back in the 70s for their fur.
