Hi, I found this today and was wondering if anyone knows what this might be. It's made of metal, and came out of the ground fairly clean. It looks like a token, and is the size of a quarter.

I think it's the washer from the top of a stem handle or wheel on a gate or globe valve Ohio Brass made lots of valves.

THanks! Yeah, it was a nice clean signal and when I dug the plug, I could see it in the hole and it looked like a silver coin!! I was kinda disappointed.
