Even though it was windy, I went for a hunt today because I really just didn’t sit around in the morning. I decided to hit up a beach that I knew my gold chances wouldn’t be as good but at least it would be calmer and I can get a hunt in. I started at 8:30am for the 11am low tide. I worked close to shore and the silver ring came in at the end of the 1st hour. I continued at it and then moved offshore to head back and at the end of the 2nd hour came the unexpected little yellow in the scoop! I couldn’t read it carefully but it seemed to be some type of birth pendant which I confirmed when I got back to the car with my reading glasses. I hunted for 4 hours and called it a day as the sun is starting to bite out there. I was a little surprised that I passed the century mark on coins but I was also rather busy during the hunt. Getting out for $3.35 in clad and a 1.2 grs. 14K charm is a good day in my book!
