Congrats on the silver count, coins, venison, and the Morgan!!! That Morgan, what a awesome find and one I’m not sure I will ever stumble across. It must be crazy to see silver in the hole that size. Did it even fit out of your plug or did you have to widen it for that silver Man hole cover?! Congrats buddy hope your year still has some good hunting in store for you before the freeze.

Congrats on the haul of silvers Trapper, especially that very big one...and on surpassing 100 silvers for the season...outstanding digging!

Jack, Big congrats on all the silver. Especially the big Morgan !!! Outstanding year for you. You have the knack for sniffing out that deep silver. Continued success....HH !

Trapper,

Congrats on a couple amazing permissions. Glad you were able to get some detecting time in and that you weren't hurt with your buck run in!

Stay safe and keep on detecting until the ground a foot thick with frost!

Greg

Arggghhhh!! I guess you weren’t kidding when you said it was pretty mint,it’s pretty AND mint! Nobody but nobody deserves a few minutes of “me time” on the couch like you do Trapper. That’ll be tough to beat.
I will get a lot of me time after the 9th of February Kevin, but it still seems a long way ahead.
Clearly, I’m not living right. Congrats on the Morgan and other nice finds!!!
Thanks Jerry. Hey your putting in your the effort, maybe the detector gods have something special out there yet for you.
Congrats Trapper, on some amazing success, especially with that Morgan. That's a sharp one!
She is pretty Ron and I'm very happy to put her in the treasure chest.
Congradulations Trap !
Anyone who has seen you hunt knows you can find 100 silvers in your sleep.
But more importantly ... Anyone who has met you even a few times knows that you seem to be cursed with the responsibility of saving these coins..
Truely Magical.
Hard work , Luck , Persistance ... bla bla bla. ... bull crapola ..
your not looking for them ... the things are just waiting for you to show up.
Congrats on the dream Morgan and the 10 pointer
Great post!
Dew
I keep tell in you Dew's grid and grid some more and if that don't work try gridding. That 10 pointer has really put the hurt on the squad car. Be a bit before she becomes road worthy again ($4,200 in damage). Damm thing better by good eating.
You sure scored a hit here! I can only dream of someday hunting an old place like this!
Well Gold thank you. I learned when I started in this hobby that knocking on doors can and does lead to so very nice rewards. Trapper

Fantastic hunting Jack! Congrats on hitting the century mark! Some really nice coins while doing so, as well. Been a fun ride, glad I got to tag along. Happy hunting and happy holidays!
Appreciate your reply Jeff. Even with all the wining I did with the lack of time it has been a very good year.
I dream of morgan dollar coin. I wonder if I will ever find one.
Congrats!
Metal I have been truly blessed as this is my second experience with digging Silver Dollars. A couple of years back I dug two in one hunt that were only about 8 inches apart.
Amazing hunts you had! Congrats on all of the beautiful silver!
Thank you Wave. I'm proud of all my dug Silvers. This Morgan thou is a little more special.
Cool old silver I would be stoked but as cool As they are I want rare coins😀
To me Claddy any Silver coin I get my coil over is a rare coin.
Wow what a incredible week congrats, sir that's freaking awesome! 100 count and a a Morgan, that's awesome.
Thank you for the kind word Big Fellow. It has been a great adventure. Oh! I may be of old age but I'm not a Sir yet. That title goes to my father and royal knights. Besides I love playing in the dirt.

Way to go Trapper! Totally amazing. Is that the same church where you killed all those Silver's last year?

Yeah,geez...he could’ve at least found a key date with CC on it!;)
I thought I done that a few years back with the CC Seated Half. Now this is not good enough. Heck I'm still hoping to dig a V Nickel at one of these two sites.
Those coins are Beautiful! What I would give to see them come out like that here! Great saves!
Hit the wrong forum but had to stop and look before I left.
OBN this is never the wrong forum but I'm truly thankful for your reply.
Nice silvers! It looks like you have some great permissions!
Thank you Tommy, door knocking and public property are my favorite ways to swing the coil. Only tried water a little but found I like playing in the dirt to be a bit more soiling.

Actually Mud I am now up to 106 Silver Coins. Waiting on the wife as she took the pictures of both the car and the deer. Hope the shots she took are good. I thought the critter was going to come sit in the front seat with me but thankfully the windshield held. He was still in air when I connected with him. The push bumper deflected him enough to flip him around with his head and horns hitting the front glass and his body followed taking out the spotlight, side mirror and the drivers side front door. point of impact still took out the grill, hood, drivers side fender along with headlights.
Exactly I was expecting to see the new hood ornament! Beautiful coins as always!
Thank you Digger. If the pic's get completed (Deer and Car) they will be posted.

Appreciate your reply Lee. The man hole covers are my means to the end. You seldom if ever miss the target that or damage it either. Thought maybe I should buy a backhoe for my digging. Was hoping we would get down your way again this year but Mike and I have been working some terribly long hours. Maybe next year.
Great job,,, congrats on the silver,,, nice looking coins
Thank you Eddy for your kind words.

Thanks Bruce, I hope this next year I'll be a lot more challenge to you. You only hunted half the year and still blew me out of the water.
Jack, Big congrats on all the silver. Especially the big Morgan !!! Outstanding year for you. You have the knack for sniffing out that deep silver. Continued success....HH !
Thank you Andy. I agree I do have a knack if only I had the time to use it. Retirement is in Feb. so that should not be an issue next year.
Nice hunting Jack, the Morgan looks great. Congrats on getting to the 100 mark
Thanks Ian, the trek to the century mark was hard and stressful only because I was competing with my job for the time. In hindsight the year really was very good and I am very happy with the results. The Morgan is a super rich frosting for the year. Trapper

Next year for sure jack I wouldn’t have been able to get out. I’m on the mend now I trashed my knee and had surgery so by next spring I’m hoping I will be digging and kneeling again. Best of luck finishing out the year buddy keep posting those keepers!

Nice pile of silver, beautiful pictures!

WAY TO GO, hitting the century mark (and then some), and...

AWESOME job on a beautiful Morgan! A bucket-list find (and you have THREE now???)

Congrats!!

Steve
