* Bigtime Happy Dance .. * The Value is In *

* * The Ring Has Been SOLD * *

Well I have been trying to sell this fabulous ring over the past few months but it is very hard in a regional town to do this.Over this weekend there was an Antiques & Collectables Fair,so I took my ring & went for a look.One dealer was very impressed with it & made me an offer.After a bit of bartering we agreed on a price.It was not exactly what I wished for but hey It's all profit for me.So sadly the ring as now gone.

One last look....

Come on you can't do that we need numbers.
The one I sold I was told I shouldn't have gotten at least 10g more but was happy with 35g all my hard work

Might be best if I do not disclose the $$$'s Joe .. I don't want a debate over whether it was a fair price or not.
Like I said it's all profit ... the cash will sure come in handy too.:grin:

My take is exactly like yours. You accepted a price on a found free item. If you are happy with your decision then so be it. Nobody needs to beat you up for what you did. It's your life and your decision alone.

I found a ring worth 14 grand. The highest price I was offered was 2,500.00. I took it and used it to pay off my home. Could I have gotten more? Maybe. BUT, I did what I felt was fair and let it go.

Enjoy your profit and the pictures as a reminder of a great find and live your life the way YOU want. Nobody needs to be governed by a few arm chair know-it-alls.

Quality rings are hard to sell at the best of times.Whilst it was sad to bid it farewell .. I did originally get it at the right price.

Now onto the next challenge :grin:

I know I've said this once, but that is one of the prettiest specimen I've ever seen. Congrats on the sale, you can PM if you want on the price, I'd never go back and forth with you on your price. I think you have already done well, even if you sold it for a dollar it your ring your decision. Congratulation....
