I heard an interesting factoid today. These relentless rains we have had in central Texas has put enough rain down to fill the entire state with 8 inches of rain everywhere in the entire state. You gotta really think about that. Texas is the largest state in this country.

That's a lot of water.

Yeah, the figure I saw was something like 37 trillion gallons of water has fallen on all of Texas in the month of May. BTW, even though Texas is largest of the 48 continental states, Alaska claims largest state in the country status. Just mind boggling to see how much Lake Lavon has risen over the past few months.
 
Here in Wichita Falls, we had a total of 17 inches in the month of May. Our main water supply, Lake Arrowhead, went from 22% to roaring over the spillway.
 
I wonder how it will effect MD'ing? Will it remove soil in some areas to deposit in others?
