I'm willing to bet there is still some virgin ground at the mill - under the old mill stones. Of course moving them may prove to be a problem.

That Mill site could be hunted for a long time. The previous hunters could have done you a favor by removing the big trash. I would hunt there in sections and take my time. You might not have a tremendous number of good finds, but what you find could be very good. I would take that over mercury dime territory any day.
Wow those mill stones are awesome, as is the mill. Congrats on the coins, and on having some really cool places to go!
Looks like a killer spot. Congrats on the indian and V.
looks like a great spot to detect. Glad you found some old coins. Try it agin with a different machine you'll get more
If you could have lifted them, those mill stones would be a cool display at home.....
I just traded my 6" coil
Minelab CTX Dirty30-Minelab E-Trac/Sunray Probe
I use my 6" more than the stock coil, especially around old house sites. I love the way it weeds through the trash.
You have an Etrac and a CTX3030. I guarantee you find more at that mill. Nice finds dude!
Cool location! It's a shame you have to waste your time there
