my buddy took over our local golf ccourse, guess what!?!?!

haha that memorial is not PC "Friend Of The White People". :D Good luck on the site, should be a lot of nice items, especially if you're finding merc's at only 2in already.

A neighboring town just built a new golf course and now the old one belongs to the city so might have to check it out. Think it was built in the 50's.

EACH golf course is DIFFERENT though. BEFORE the one I hunted was a golf course it was an amusement park from the 1880's - 1926. Not all courses are created equally unfortunately. Good Luck!
 
Good luck! I'm going to live vicariously through your golf course hunting since it's 15 degrees and snow on the ground here in WI. If the merc is any indication, hopefully the digging/detecting will be fast and easy. I'm jealous!
 
I guess I'll hit the one here that we just decommissioned. I didn't think that it would be worth detecting a golf course. This one is from the late 1960s...

After reading some responses here I guess it's worth a wave of the wand...lol

At the bottom of the driving range it used to be the football field up to the mid 20's before that a troll stop and before that a stage coach stop. We got the business for sure. I just have to see what I can get my coil over. :yes:

Around here if you go on a city-owned golf course with a detector, it's shoot-to-kill.

:laughing: 2000 miles would require a carton... I'm sure of it

It used to be shoot to kill until my buddy took over. I'm in the mix like a blender now!
